AIDS DOESN'T STAND FOR… Aunt Imelda's Dinosaur Stew!

Aunt Imelda and all her many friends teach us so much about compassion and caring in Aunt Imelda's Dinosaur Stew and Other Things AIDS Doesn't Stand For, a whimsical and accessible picture book Just the Factswritten by John L. Lipp with illustrations by Kevin Woodson.  John and Kevin are two San Francisco Bay Area artists who have devoted much of their adult lives to stopping the spread of HIV and supporting those impacted by the pandemic.

Twenty-five years into the pandemic, people assume that there are resources and programs for all who need them. But sadly, there are very few appropriate resources available for children ages 5-8. Because this is the stage in a child's emotional and physical development when their thirst for answers is so great, the needs of this age range can't be ignored.
